A little about how it all began...

In the Fall of 2025, I was approached by two lovely women from our church.  They said they wanted to pay me for my scones.  I laughed and told them that I wasn't set up to sell my goods, but I would gladly make some scones for them.  They laughed and said "well get set up!"  This wasn't the first time I considered starting my own Cottage Bakery, but the timing and circumstances weren't aligned.  However, this time, the  encouragement couldn't have come at a more perfect time, as my circumstances had changed.  I talked to my family about the possibility and they fully supported me, as well as dear friends who always cheer me on, no matter what, and here we are!  

If you've read this far, it is my hope that you will journey along with me as we learn and grow in our business.  Food brings people together and if there is any way Debbie's Cottage Bakery Gems can spread joy and smiles at your table through our treats, we would consider it an honor and a blessing to serve you and your family!
